Lake Arthur Schools’ students are provided instruction in 21st century learning by providing instruction in keyboarding, word processing, and Internet safety and research. Our effort is to prepare our students to become responsible digital citizens.
Lake Arthur Schools’ offers several paths for students to use technology in pursuit of academic studies and progressing toward 21st Century Skills. Laptop computers, tablets, computer laboratories, and classroom sets of computers are available in grades pre-K-12. Internet access is universal within the requirements of the Children’s Internet Protection Act. All elementary and secondary classrooms have electronic whiteboard capabilities.
Edgenuity’s® ELA, math, science, social studies, world languages, Advanced Placement®, CTE, and elective courses are designed to help students in grades 9–12 meet the rigor of Common Core and state standards, as well as your state’s graduation requirements. Edgenuity courses can be used for initial credit or credit recovery as well as content or concept recovery in order to ensure subject-area mastery.
